Pinoy Patties

Ingredients:
1 can (150 g) tomato sauce
1 1/2 cups cooked rice
1 cup bread crumbs
3 pcs tinapa, flaked
2 pcs longganisang "macao", diced
1/4 cup chopped onions
1 egg
2 tbsp diced sibuyas na mura
1/2 tsp oregano
salt and pepper

Breading:
1 cup bread crumbs, seasoned with dash of salt and pepper
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup margarine or oil


Directions:
1. Mix well all ingredients, except those for breading. Chill for 30 minutes.
2. Form every tbsp of mixture into a patty.
3. Coat patties with bread crumbs. Dip in egg. Coat again in bread crumbs.
4. Fry over low heat until golden brown. Serve hot with Chili ketchup.

Makes 8 servings.
Rice is used as extender.
