Classic Meat Cocido
Ingredients:
200 g beef round, cut up
150 g pork liempo,cut up
1 pc medium carrot, cut into chunks
1 pc chorizo de bilbao, sliced
1 pouch (200 g) classic pochero and cocido recipe sauce
100 g baguio beans, sliced
150 g cabbage, sliced
Directions:
1. Simmer beef in 1 cup water until half tender.
2. Add pork. Simmer until tender.
3. Add carrot, chorizo, recipe sauce and salt to taste.
4. Simmer for 10 minutes. Add Baguio beans and cabbage.
5. Cook for 3 minutes.
Makes 5 servings.
It is rich in Vitamin A - for good eyesight.
For simple catering jobs, place the dish in tightly sealed handy aluminum containers. This will keep the food warm for up to 2 hours.
