Misua Con Patola


Ingredients:
4 cloves garlic, crushed
1 medium onion, sliced
1/4 kg ground pork
1 can (140 g) tomato sauce
1 small (350 g) patola, sliced 1/4" thick crosswise
50 g misua
2 cups sili leaves


Directions:
1. Saute garlic, onion and ground pork. Cook for 5 minutes.
2. Add 3 cups water, tomato sauce, 3 tbsp patis (fish sauce) and 1/4 tsp pepper. Cook for 5 minutes.
3. Add patola. Cook for another 5 minutes.
4. Add misua. Simmer for another 2 minutes. Turn off heat. Add sili leaves.

Makes 6 servings.
