Barbecue Rice

Ingredients:
300 g pork lomo, sliced into thin strips
1 cup Pinoy BBQ instant marinade
2 tsp cornstarch
2 tbsp margarine
1/2 cup frozen green peas
6 cups cooked rice


Directions:
1. Marinate pork slices in instant marinade for 15 minutes. Drain. Dissolve cornstarch in marinade. Set aside.
2. Saute pork in margarine for 5 minutes or until cooked. Add peas and marinade mixture Simmer until thick. Add rice and salt to taste. Cook for 2 minutes with continuous stirring.

Makes 7 servings.
It is rich in Vitamin B1 - prevents beri-beri.
Assemble the dish in rice boxes or Chinese takeout boxes similar to the ones sold in food stands. These containers are available in major groceries and supermarkets.
