Barbecue Pork Burger
Ingredients:
Burger:
400 g ground pork
100 g onion, chopped
2 tbsp flour
Sauce:
1 can (140 g) tomato sauce
6 cloves garlic, minced
1/8 tsp peppercorn, crushed
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 1/2 tbsp red cane vinegar
2 tbsp brown sugar
Directions:
1. Combine ingredients for sauce. Set aside.
2. Combine ingredients for burger with 1/2 tsp iodized fine salt (or 1/2 tbsp iodized rock salt) and 1/4 tsp pepper.
3. Divide into 6 then shape into patties. Brush with sauce. Grill in pan with 3 tbsp oil until cooked.
4. Simmer remaining sauce for 2 minutes. Pour over burgers.
Makes 6 servings.
It is high in Niacin - promotes normal digestion and healthy skin.
Pair with buttered vegetables and white rice, then pack in single-serve food keepers.
