Chicken Mechado


Ingredients:
8 cloves garlic, crushed
1 onion, sliced
350g chicken breast, cut into serving portions
6 pieces sibuyas tagalog (red onion)
2 small potatoes, cut into chunks
1 small red bell pepper, cut into strips
1 pouch (200 g) mechado-caldereta sauce


Directions:
1. Simmer chicken in 1/2 cup water for 10 minutes. Add sibuyas tagalog, potatoes and bell pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
2. Add classic recipe ssauce then simmer for another 5 minutes.
Makes 6 servings.
Chicken replaces beef.
Rich in Vitamin B6 - maintains brain functions.
